Hedo needs to rethink his legacy a bit and give Orlando a hometown discount...he fits in with that team so perfectly. He'd be crazy to leave from a
basketball perspective, but alas, NBA scratch can buy a pretty nice spread on the coast of the Med.

Imagine if the Maloof's didn't buy out Thomas way back when? Petrie almost quit. While the Maloof's aren't perfect, I think their cuddly little hearts are in the right place 90% of the time. |

As much as I like Francisco Garcia, and I DO, while, like Hedo, he is a clutch player, he does NOT have the same height, length and variety and level of skills
and confidence, Hedo currently does, and is not likely to grow or get the opportunity with the Kings (especially with Andre Nocioni on board) to achieve them.
At 30, Hedo is becoming better, not devolving. He is worth what his agent is asking; and if the Kings were to pay it, they would start him (while Francisco
continues to seldom crack the starting rotation).

I don't know. I think Hedo would be remembered far more for multiple NBA championship appearances (very possible with Orlando) than coming "home"
to the Kings, who suck. You're right that it's not Hedo's fault that Lewis makes a ludicrous amount of money. Hopefully Hedo (and agent) can resign
with Orlando. He is a great fit there.

The situation in the Kings war room appears to be extremely fluid at the moment, with plenty of trade offers on their table for the #4 pick, and four point guards in the lead to be selected should they hold onto it. Ricky Rubio, Jonny Flynn, Tyreke Evans and Stephen Curry are the players they are looking at, even if they continue to say that James Harden is in the picture as well, likely in order to prevent Oklahoma City from feeling comfortable about moving down to #5 in a swap with Minnesota. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Finally, James Harden and the Kings mentioned 'together'. |

If the rumor that Petrie has offered 23 and 31 for 15, who might he be targeting?
Canidates would appear to include: Derozan, Williams, Lawson, Johnson, Clark, Henderson, Maynor, Mullens, and Blair unless Petrie thinks Jennings or Holliday might fall this far. |

I'm not sure the rumor of Geoff looking to move up to #15 is legit, but if it is, it falls into that category of trades I don't quite understand. Why
make a preemptive deal without knowing who will or won't be available there? It certainly can't be to target a single player. The only rationale I
can come up with is if your draft board only has 12-15 players rated as first round talents/guys you want and you're afraid you'll be on the outside
looking in if you don't make a move.

Chalk up another poster who doesn't like the Maloof family by showing no respect. Now,
if the team was winning then the reason would be the players, coaches, front office, ect. but certainly not the owners. When losing it all boils down to the
Maloof family. So it looks like if the pick turns out well it's not the owners but if bad it's all on the owners.

They even add take these with a grain of salt, but they've heard:
-Houston sends Shane Battier and Aaron Brooks to Sacramento for Beno Udrih at the #4 pick. A third team might have to get involved to make the salaries work. Most people around the league believe that Houston is very happy with their team at the moment, and that McGrady is really the only player they are looking to move. This draft needs happen soon, lol. Too much. |
