Evans is a fine pick, and I give Petrie kudos for picking the next best player available. Rubio went 5th for a reason, and I for one am not a bit discouraged by this pick. I think people will really like Evans once they see him in action, so give it a chance folks!

We have some guys that CAN slide to the four, but Brockman and Kenny Thomas are the only true PFs on the roster and we have no backup center at the moment.

Overall, quite pleased minus Brockman, but what do I know? It appeared there were much better prospects at 38, so I'm not sure why he was chosen.

Regardless, Brockman might make the team only because it lacks depth.

Well, Spencer Hawes will be happy with our second round pick. Brockman was his frontcourt mate at Udub. Funny thing is, he was a sophomore when Spence was a freshman. Not sure he makes the team, but he's a scrapper.
